Cardinals Designate CB to Return From Injured Reserve
Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals announced this morning the designation to return of cornerback Bobby Price from injured reserve. He can now begin practicing with the team and will have a 21 day window before he must be elevated to the active roster, though he can be activated at any time.

Price has been on injured reserve with a quad injury dating back to the beginning of November, as he last played in the 27-0 loss to the Cleveland Browns.

Price has played in just four games thus far but could help bolster Arizona's cornerback room that desperately needs help.

Former starting corner Marco Wilson has fallen from the good graces of the coaching staff due to poor performance, leaving names such as Antonio Hamilton and a trio of rookies in Garrett Williams, Starling Thomas and Kei'Trel Clark to handle duties.

To date, the Cardinals are allowing 7.6 yards per pass attempt, which is tied for 25th in the NFL. They've also given up 22 touchdowns through the air, which is tied for fourth-most in the league.

Arizona will need all the help they can get in Week 15 when the San Francisco 49ers come to town, though all 91 of Price's snaps have come on special teams. He has just two starts in four seasons.
