Buccaneers WR Julio Jones says he's 100% healthy, 'no issues lingering'

It was reported on Tuesday that the Indianapolis Colts weren't going to be pursuing highly-decorated wide receiver Julio Jones. Soon after, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had reportedly added the seven-time Pro Bowler on a one-year contract.

The $6 million deal (with a maximum value of $8 million) was officially announced on Wednesday and on his first day of training camp, Jones addressed the media for the first time.

Jones was limited to 10 games in his only season with the Tennesse Titans, where he registered career lows in targets (48), receptions (31), receiving yards (434) and receiving touchdowns (one). The 33-year-old earned all seven of his Pro Bowl honors and secured both of his First-Team All-Pro nods during his tenure with the Atlanta Falcons from 2011 to 2020 before being traded to the Titans in June 2021.

Jones currently lines up behind Pro Bowler Mike Evans, 1,000-yard wideout Chris Godwin and newcomer Russell Gage on the Bucs projected wide receiver depth chart.
