The Buccaneers starting Nickel Cornerback Christian Izien has been cleared from the concussion protocol per BucsGameday's JC Allen:
Per source, #GoBucs NCB Christian Izien has passed the necessary tests to exit the league’s concussion protocol and will be available to play against #DaBears Sunday. #Bucs #Buccaneers

Izien was an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers and won the nickel job in training camp. In his debut against the Minnesota Vikings, he grabbed his first career interception and only allowed 4 catches for 18 yards.
With Carlton Davis missing the game with a toe injury and Calijah Kancey out with a lingering calf injury, the Buccaneers will need all the health they can get on the defensive side of the ball.
Izien was in a non-contact jersey at the beginning of the practice week and by Friday was listed as a full participant in practice.
The Buccaneers also elevated two players from their practice squad.
In addition to Russell, the #GoBucs are elevating DL Pat O’Connor for Sunday’s game against #DaBears https://t.co/kAMhgdf0g4

The Buccaneers are elevating two defensive players with the two starters out and they will also be missing SirVocea Dennis who is out with a hamstring injury.
The Bears will likely be missing their starting right guard Nate Davis who signed in the off-season after starting 4 seasons for the Tennesse Titans.
Bears G Nate Davis has been added to the game status report and is doubtful to play against the Buccaneers tomorrow due to personal reasons.
