Buccaneers Pro Bowl center Ryan Jensen feared to have suffered season-ending knee injury

It's been approximately 24 hours since Tampa Bay Buccaneers Pro Bowl center Ryan Jensen went down and was carted off the field with a left knee injury during training camp. In an update later Thursday, multiple reports said the fear was that Jensen's injury was "serious."

While there's still no definitive word on what happened to the 31-year-old, it sounds like Bucs fans should be expecting the worst.

While the #Bucs await final word, the fear is Pro Bowl center Ryan Jensen has suffered a season-ending knee injury, sources say. A likely frustrating end to his 2022.

ESPN's Jeff Darlington reported further on second-year pro Robert Hainsey, who he said should have the upper hand on the replacement gig if Jensen is done for the year.

If the Bucs’ fears following yesterday’s injury to Ryan Jensen are confirmed by MRI, look for the team to focus on Robert Hainsey as his replacement. The team is high on Hainsey, and he’ll get every chance before considering outside options. They also likes Nick Leverett, too.
