Tampa Bay Buccaneers center Ryan Jensen suffered a knee injury Thursday and was carted off the field during a training camp practice, according to multiple reports.
Jensen, 31, earned Pro Bowl honors for the first time in his career in 2021 and signed a three-year, $39 million extension with the Buccaneers in the offseason.
An onlooker at the camp practice posted video of the injury that appeared to occur when guard Aaron Stinnie fell into the side of Jensen's leg.
Earlier in 2022, Tampa Bay's Pro Bowl guard Ali Marpet retired at age 28. The team addressed the hole on the offensive line by trading a fifth-round pick to the New England Patriots for guard Shaq Mason.
After practice Thursday, Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles said the team doesn't yet know the severity of Jensen's injury.
