Bobby Okereke has made a tremendous difference for the New York Giants

In March 2023, the New York Giants signed young LB Bobby Okereke to a four-year, $40 million contract. It was a shock to the fanbase, as Okereke was not a largely known name outside of his previous team, the Indianapolis Colts.

No one knew how would it pan out and did not know if Joe Schoen had wasted money on potential. But, everyone is happy, these days, thanks to Okereke's 149 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, and 2 interceptions in 2023.

Same with Xavier McKinney, Okereke played every single snap of the 2023 season. 

Okereke has revolutionized this Giants linebacker coverage, allowing other players to become successful in their position. Okereke has become the obvious leader of this defense and Giants fans should be thrilled.

Unfortunately, Okereke was snubbed of the Pro Bowl, but if you look at his game film, the guy is all over the field and was a turnover machine. The Giants have not had a star MLB in quite sometime. 

The Giants are quietly putting a defensive arsenal together, and he has been the leader of it. Dexter Lawrence, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Xavier McKinney, Deonte Banks, Micah McFadden, and Bobby Okereke. This is a core that could be added onto and win football games. 

The Bobby Okereke signing will be a lasting mark on Giants history for some time to come.
