Bills taking Josh Allen injury 'one hour at a time' ahead of Week 10 vs. Vikings

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Friday morning that the team is taking quarterback Josh Allen's elbow injury "one hour at a time" and that the 2020 Pro Bowler hasn't been ruled out for Week 10 yet.

Allen suffered a sprained right elbow during the Bills' 20-17 loss to the New York Jets in Week 9. Allen finished that contest 18-for-34 for a season-low 205 passing yards, threw two interceptions and didn't record a touchdown pass for the first time this fall.

He was, however, able to do damage on the ground with nine carries for a season-best 86 yards and two scores.

If Allen is unable to go, Buffalo would look to backup Case Keenum. The 10th year journeyman spent the 2017 season with the Minnesota Vikings -- the Bills' Week 10 opponent -- but has only made two starts over the last three years.

In two games this year, Keenum has gone 2-for-7 for eight yards.
