Adam Schefter reveals key 2024 NFL Draft nugget about the New York Giants

The New York Giants are in a massive spot for their organization in the upcoming NFL Draft. When holding a top ten pick, you hold plenty of power. For them, addressing their offense is a strong likelihood early in the draft.

Schefter gave Giants fans an inside look into their 2024 NFL Draft plans.

According to Schefter, it sounds like the Giants may target an offensive play maker with the sixth overall pick. Then, they may take a QB in R2 or trade back into the end of R1 to get one.

"I'm going to take them at their word. They seem to have implied they have other needs at other positions. I think they are going to take a QB relatively high, but up high they seem to point to other areas before QB."

This plan of attack is not a new idea. Plenty of folks around the NFL have mentioned the Giants being a candidate for the Michael Penix Jr./Bo Nix tier of QBs expected to go late round one or early day two.

New York could choose to go this route, and honestly, it may be the smartest one. Staying at pick 6 and getting QB4 of the class rather than a top WR prospect in Malik Nabers or Rome Odunze would not make sense.

Go get the premier talent. Then, try to hit on value with the QB pick afterwards to provide competition to Daniel Jones
