These next five games are crucial for the Las Vegas Raiders for any chance of making the playoffs, and it starts Sunday in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 14.

Four Raiders have the opportunity to go head-to-head against their former team, the Vikings.

It starts with Raiders running back Ameer Abdullah, who played for the Vikings from 2018-21. During his four-year stint with the Vikings, Abdullah played 45 games, in which he had 38 carries for 187 yards and had three receiving touchdowns.

Raiders safety Marcus Epps was drafted 191st overall out of Wyoming in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Vikings. Epps appeared in eight games with the Vikings in his rookie season before signing with the Philadelphia Eagles the following offseason.

Two Silver and Black coaches also go head-to-head against their former team on Sunday.

Running Backs coach Kennedy Polamalu spent five seasons with the Vikings from 2017-21. In 2021, Polamalu coached former running back and current New York Jets running back Calvin Cook to his third-straight 1,000-rushing season, in which he totaled 1,159 yards. Cook carried the ball 20-plus times in seven games that season and scored six touchdowns.

Passing game coordinator Scott Turner was the Vikings' quarterbacks coach from 2014-16. While he was the Vikings' quarterback coach, Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was named to the 2015 NFL Pro Bowl in his second season.

The Silver and Black also will go head-to-head with a former Raider, as Vikings long snapper Andrew DePaola spent time with the Silver and Black in 2018.

Be on the watch this Sunday as all these Raiders go head-to-head against their former team at Allegiant Stadium. The Raiders (5-7) look to end their two-game losing streak this Sunday.

A win on Sunday would improve the Raiders' all-time record against the NFC North record to (7-18).

The Silver and Black will return home to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, December 10, at 4:05 p.m. EST/1:05 p.m. PST.
