Watch: Nets' Mikal Bridges drains full-court shot to beat halftime buzzer vs. Knicks

Nets forward Mikal Bridges drained a three against the Knicks on Saturday afternoon that spanned the Brooklyn and Manhattan boroughs, ending an entertaining first half.

Following a two-point shot from Knicks guard Donte DiVincenzo with 2.1 seconds remaining in the second quarter, Bridges launched a heave from inside the Nets own three-point line and watched it go in to give Brooklyn a 57-56 halftime advantage.

Bridges finished the first half with 11 points as the Nets play the role of spoiler during their final 12 games of the regular season.

Brooklyn (26-44, 11th in Eastern Conference) has lost five in a row, is 2-8 in its last 10 games, and is 4.5 behind the Hawks (30-39, 10th in Eastern Conference) for the last spot in the East's play-in tournament.

Per Basketball Reference, the Nets have a 5.2 percent chance of finishing the regular season in the conference's top 10.

Meanwhile, New York (41-28, fifth in Eastern Conference) is only 0.5 games behind Orlando (42-28, fourth in Eastern Conference) for home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

All bets are off in a rivalry game, especially if the Nets continue to make miracle shots.
