Trae Young's bold prediction after Celtics buzzer-beater

Derrick White's late-second heroics in Game 6 had Beantown buzzing. Of course, how long the moment remains in Celtics lore ultimately depends on the outcome of Game 7 on Monday night. And according to Trae Young, Boston fans have nothing to sweat, as the Atlanta Hawks star believes the C's have the series in the bag.

"Boston gonna beat Miami now .. it’s over!," Young tweeted late Saturday.

Young's comments came after White tipped in teammate Marcus Smart's miss at the final buzzer to seal a 104-103 victory over the Miami Heat. White's bucket saved the Celtics' season, putting his team on the cusp of NBA history. If Boston handles business in Game 7, they will become the first team in league history to win a playoff series after initially falling to a 3-0 deficit.

While the Celtics are riding high, they may once again be shorthanded when they take the court at TD Garden on Monday. Sixth Man of the Year Malcolm Brogdon, who missed Game 6 with a forearm injury, is currently listed as questionable for Game 7.

Regardless of Brogdon's status, the Celtics have undeniably shifted the tide of momentum. Miami looks like a shell of the team they were early in the series. They have been held to an average of fewer than 100 points per game over Boston's three-game winning streak while Jimmy Butler's efficiency has taken a steep nosedive. The Heat star has knocked down just 10-of-31 shots from the field over the past two games. Meanwhile, Jayson Tatum looks to have taken the reins as the series' best player, dropping 30-plus points twice since being faced with elimination.

As long as Tatum stays locked in and Boston's defense shows up, look for the Celtics to come away victorious in Game 7 and punch their ticket to the NBA Finals.
