Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson to miss Game 5 v. Nuggets with eye injury

The Minnesota Timberwolves will have to try to keep their playoff series against the Denver Nuggets alive without Kyle Anderson.

The Wolves announced Monday afternoon that Anderson will miss Tuesday night's Game 5 in Denver because of a left eye injury.

Anderson left Sunday night's win at Target Center after colliding with Anthony Edwards as they attempted to defend a DeAndre Jordan dunk.

He has been a huge part of the team this season, and his absence will pile more pressure on the Wolves who are already without Jaden McDaniels and Naz Reid.

Jaylen Nowell is listed as questionable on the report with left knee tendinopathy.

Game 5 gets underway at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
