Report: Heat’s Josh Richardson Out Few Weeks With Dislocated Shoulder
Sam Navarro-USA TODAY Sports

According to NBA insider Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, Miami Heat guard Josh Richardson has a dislocated right shoulder.

Richardson will miss a few weeks with his injury.

Richardson is averaging 9.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists this season while shooting 44.4% from the field, 34.7% from beyond the arc and 94.4% from the free-throw line. He’s making $2.9 million.

The Heat are 28-25 on the season. They are in eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings. If the season ended today, Miami would be in the play-in tournament for the second straight year.

Richardson, 30, has career NBA averages of 11.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists with the Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Pelicans. He’s in his second stint with the Heat this season.
