Raptors sign F-C Kelly Olynyk through 2025-26 season
Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

The Toronto Raptors signed post player Kelly Olynyk to a multi-year contract extension on Monday.

The Raptors didn't divulge terms of the deal, but ESPN reported it is a two-year, $26.25 million contract. ESPN cited Olynyk's agent, Jeff Schwartz, as the source of the information.

Olynyk, who plays forward and center, is now under contract through the 2025-26 season. Toronto acquired him from the Utah Jazz on Feb. 8.

"We've been a fan of Kelly's game for a long time and are thrilled he will continue his career in Toronto," Raptors general manager Bobby Webster said in a news release. "In addition to his unique skillset and ability to stretch the floor, Kelly is a leader and brings a veteran voice to our locker room."

Olynyk, 32, is a native of Toronto. He is averaging 9.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists in nine games off the bench since joining the Raptors. Overall, he has averages of 8.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 59 games (eight starts) this season.

In 11 NBA seasons, Olynyk is averaging 10.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 737 games (242 starts) with the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Houston Rockets, Detroit Pistons, Utah and Toronto.

Olynyk was a college standout at Gonzaga before being the No. 13 overall pick by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2013 draft and shipped to Boston on a draft-night trade.
