On Tuesday evening, the New York Knicks will host the Atlanta Hawks at Madison Square Garden.
Before the game, the team announced that they had officially signed Shake Milton.
The 27-year-old has played 42 games this season for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Detroit Pistons.
He began the year with the Timberwolves and was traded to the Pistons, who waived him after a contract buyout (h/t ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski).
Milton is averaging 4.9 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest while shooting 40.3% from the field and 27.4% from the three-point range.
