NBA Props for Monday March 18: New week, new opportunities

We closed last week with a 1-3 day on Friday. That sucks but at the same time, it is almost impossible to remember what happened with all of the wonderful college hoops we had over the weekend. Plus some decent NBA games too.

We still have to wait a few days until March Madness begins. Thankfully we have eight NBA games to keep us occupied until then. May your brackets never bust.

NBA Props for Monday, March 18

Jarrett Allen and Myles Turner Over 19.5 Rebounds (+100)
Cavaliers vs. Pacers, 7 p.m. ET

I might be guilty of leaning on Allen too much here. I think I have taken him in a combined rebounding prop a few times before too (and always won). The simple fact he is one of the most consistent rebounders in the league. Turner is always a bit of a tease but I think Allen, in a fast-paced game, is good for at least a dozen tonight so Turner can just be a little better than average and we cash.

Jaden Ivey Over 3.5 Rebounds (+130)
Pistons vs. Celtics, 7:30 p.m. ET

Ivey has burned me more than once this season. However, I am dipping back into the well here because we are getting a great price (and it is not even an Alt line) and when I looked back over the season I saw that Ivey grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds the only time he played against Boston. All of the athleticism is there for him to exploit, even if the game is not close.

Kris Murray Over 4.5 Rebounds (+110)
Trail Blazers vs. Bulls, 8 p.m. ET

The other Murray brother is seeing his role grow over the course of the season. All of his numbers have been going up monthly and since the All-Star break, he has been averaging more than 5 ppg. Portland is out of it so they are just letting him and a bunch of other young players play. The matchup with the wing players of the Bulls is favorable too.

Santi Aldama Over 1.5 Three Pointers (+135)
Grizzlies vs. Kings, 10 p.m. ET

Adama can be a bit of a boom or bust player. In the past seven games, he has a couple where he has failed to make a shot from behind the arc and five where he has made at least two (with a high of five makes). With where Memphis is they have to let him shoot it as they evaluate for the future. Tonight's game against Sacramento should have plenty of opportunity too.
