Sorry, missed you yesterday ... just one of those days. We are off to a slow start this week though so maybe a day off was a good thing.
I never want to gloss over the holes in the road, so I acknowledge we were just 1-2 on Tuesday and the records have been updated below. I am loving that the Kings are a "thing" again but the Clippers were a dud. I am not sure what to make of them right now.
Also, thank you Josh Giddey, for proving that SGA is the only reliable player in OKC.
Tonight we have another set of 4 games to choose from. I like the way it sets up better than Tuesday though.
NBA Sides: 37-28-1
NBA Props: 20-14
Winning Days: 22 (of 34)
Toronto Raptors -2 (at Washington Wizards)
Toronto had a good month of February and is looking to climb in the Eastern Conference. In their last game, Fred VanVleet was back on the floor and showing the rust of being away from the game for the last couple of weeks with his family. He should be better tonight. Toronto has better depth than Washington and a number of defenders they can throw at the combo of Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma. Kristaps Porzingis is supposed to be out and even though he often disappoints he can still be a threat out there. Washington is a home underdog for a reason tonight.
Los Angeles Clippers -3.5 (at Golden State Warriors)
For my own sanity, I try to avoid a team that just let me down. Nevertheless on a short card tonight I like the Clippers. They have a winning record on the road this season and Golden State is still without Steph Curry. Versatile Andrew Wiggins is away from the team due to personal reasons, so their best wing defender will be unavailable too. The Warriors are never a fun fade at home, especially as an underdog. In that situtaion they are 4-0 SUATS. I just think they don't have the horses tonight.
Pascal Siakam Over 35.5 Points Rebounds and Assists
Siakam is having a wonderful season. He is super versatile and even though the Raptors have good depth, he is leading the league in minutes per game. VanVleet being back, and the addition of Will Barton, are not going to eat into his minutes too much. The only thing I worry about is if the Raptors blow out the Wizards tonight. This is below seasonal averages and he did not post a game under 30 PRA in February. That is great consistency.
