Former Portland Trail Blazers forward Moe Harkless is back with the organization — as a member of the G League’s Rip City Remix.
Harkless, 30, last played in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings during the 2021-22 season, when he appeared in 47 games and averaged 4.6 points.
His career began back in 2012 with the Magic, before he headed to Portland from 2015-19. He has also spent time with the Clippers, Knicks and Heat.
The Kings traded Harkless (and wing Justin Holiday) to the Hawks in a deal that sent shooting guard Kevin Huerter to Sacramento in July 2022. He was traded later again that same offseason, to the Thunder, and then yet again to the Rockets.
Houston waived Harkless shortly before the 2022-23 season tipped off.
