Mavericks' Marquese Chriss followed Suns' Bismack Biyombo off the court after ejections

Things got heated, to say the least, at the end of the Game 5 matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.

So heated, even, that Mavs forward Marquese Chriss followed Suns center Bismack Biyombo off the court to fight him down the tunnel.

Both players were ejected following an altercation with 2.3 seconds left in the game.

We got some extracurricular activity at the end of this one. Marquese Chriss didn't like Bismack Biyombo trying to dunk there. Said something to him, Biyombo said something back, Chriss got in his face. Chriss gets ejected and hears the boos

Biyombo exited the court down the appropriate tunnel and headed for the Suns' locker room. Chriss, on the other hand, ditched going down his own tunnel and followed Biyombo to continue fighting him in the hallway. Members of both teams' security staffs had to intervene to stop the incident.

Neither player spoke with the media afterward, and Suns head coach Monty Williams didn't want to address the altercation either.

"I get the competitiveness of the game, but we're just trying to win the game," Williams said, via ESPN. "All the stuff that happens that's extracurricular, I don't have anything to say about that. I understand how chippy it can be. We just want to win the game and that's it. We're trying to get one more win, and that's our focus right now."

Phoenix did in fact win Tuesday's game in staggering fashion, 110-80. They lead the conference semifinals series 3-2 and have a chance to close things out Thursday in Dallas.
