Mark Cuban takes shot at Chris Broussard in response to WNBA zings
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Mark Cuban is a man who has a tendency to hold onto grudges for a very long time, and it would appear he still has it out for Chris Broussard nearly four years after the two butted heads over some of Broussard’s reporting.

On Wednesday, Dallas Mavericks point guard and reigning NBA Rookie of the Year Luka Doncic recorded a video endorsing Dallas Wings rookie Arike Ogunbowale for the same award in the WNBA. The Minnesota Lynx official Twitter account responded by ripping Doncic for recording a scripted video and not actually supporting the WNBA.

Cuban didn’t appreciate the Lynx going after his player, so he issued a response of his own. Broussard had nothing to do with the shots that were exchanged, but Cuban dragged him into it, anyway.

If you remember, Cuban was livid with Broussard during the Mavericks’ 2015 courtship of then-free agent DeAndre Jordan, when Broussard had reported that Cuban was driving around Houston begging for Jordan’s address. Cuban called out Broussard for the report and challenged him to a charity donation to prove his information. Broussard eventually backed down and apologized.

Cuban later ripped Broussard again when discussing the poor reporting surrounding the Jordan situation, and he is obviously never going to forget it.
