The "Look of the Day" series took a tough loss on Wednesday when Jrue Holiday went under his rebound prop by 0.5. That's three losses in a row after a 1-0 start, but we're ready to get back on track with another player prop on the hardwood.
Look of the Day record: 1-3 (-2.15 units)
Risking 1.2 units to win 1 unit.
Haliburton should be in for a monster statistical performance against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Indiana Pacers point guard leads the NBA with 11.9 assists per game and 18.9 potential assists per game, and he's staring down a perfect matchup on Thursday night.
The total in Thursday's Pacers-Bucks matchup is set at a whopping 241.5, which is well warranted considering the makeup of these two teams. Both Indiana and Milwaukee rank inside the top six in the NBA in pace, plus they both rank inside the bottom six in defensive efficiency.
This is going to be an up-tempo sprint with tons and tons of shot attempts, so Haliburton should be able to eclipse 20 potential assists. Opposing guards have killed the Bucks this season because Damian Lillard and Malik Beasley are both below-average defenders.
This is a high number, but as long as Haliburton dishes the ball as much as he has to this point in the season, he should cruise over 11.5 assists.
