Look of the Day for Monday, March 4: Lookie, lookie at this rookie

It's a brand new week for our Look of the Day series, and we're looking to kick it off with a no-sweat winner. Let's head over to the NBA and target our favorite player prop for Monday's slate. 

Look of the Day: Taylor Hendricks over 17.5 points + rebounds (-105 DraftKings)

Wizards vs. Jazz, 9 p.m. ET

The Utah Jazz will be missing some key players on Monday night, as forward Lauri Markkanen and center Walker Kessler have already been ruled out for their game against the Washington Wizards. That opens the door for some complementary pieces to step into a bigger role.

One of those players is going to be rookie forward Taylor Hendricks. The UCF product finally cracked the starting lineup two weeks ago and has been an effective offensive weapon for the Jazz. In five starts, Hendricks is averaging 9.4 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. Markkanen, Utah's leading scorer and second-leading rebounder, played in all five of those games. With the high-usage forward out of the lineup, Hendricks will have a great chance to improve on those stats.

This is also a great matchup against a Wizards team that ranks 28th in the NBA in points allowed and rebounds allowed to opposing power forwards. Washington plays fast and doesn't shoot efficiently from three, which is why it ranks dead last in the league in opponent rebounds per game.

With their playoff hopes slipping away, the Jazz want to see what they have in Hendricks. The rookie should be a focal point of the offense and a main rebounder on Monday night in a friendly matchup.
