Upon Cam Johnson's return and immediate 29-minute exposure, the Brooklyn Nets have meanwhile flashed an intriguing amount of lesser play for Lonnie Walker IV against the Orlando Magic.

The Nets sixth man didn't gain much playing time in facing the Magic. Walker IV only logged 8 minutes for the Nets, tallying just 2 points on a single field goal made on his minimized activity for the team's 114-106 loss.

All good to play

There has been a sense that his recent illness, which made him unavailable last Saturday against the Charlotte Hornets, could still be bothering him. But in the postgame of the match, Lonnie shrugged off any worries as he claimed that he remains fully healthy to play.

After being sidelined against the Hornets, Walker IV proceeded to play in Brooklyn's last 120-101 dub on Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, finishing with an inconsistent 4 points for 14 minutes.

“Oh yeah, I’m good. I’m all good,” said Walker, via New York Post's Brian Lewis. “Yeah, the way the game goes.”

He added: “I’m back at 100 percent. I’m back to moving and grooving. Dancing a little bit, singing in the showers and stuff. So you know God is good.”

Rest day incoming

As the Nets will take a day off before their road trip continuation, Lonnie has already straightened up his plans for Thursday's errand. And it is certainly taking his time to unwind and refresh away from the game.

“Uh, sleeping. I’m going to sleep my tail off: That is my end goal, my first goal, and midst-goal if that’s the thing,” Walker said. “But I know we have Thursday off, so I’ve never been to Disney, so maybe I could try and sneak in there for the one time and have some fun.”
