Former Cavaliers point guard Matthew Dellavedova is looking to make a return to the NBA and has already drawn interest from the Kings.

Per Dave McMenamin of ESPN, Dellavedova is scheduled to work out for Sacramento during the Las Vegas Summer League, where the entire league has embarked. He has actually already played for new Kings coach Mike Brown, when the two were with the Cavaliers in 2013-14.

Dellavedova, 31, did not play in the NBA last season, instead spending the year with Melbourne United of the Australian National Basketball League. He averaged 10.3 points and 4.8 assists, shooting 39 percent from the field.

His last NBA season with the Cavs didn’t go so well, as he appeared in just 13 games in 2020-21, suffering an array of injuries, including a concussion and whiplash. He also underwent an emergency appendectomy.

Dellavedova was a member of the Cavs’ 2016 championship team and carries NBA career averages of 5.5 points and 3.7 assists.

Along with Dellavedova, the Kings are working out NBA veterans Quinn Cook and Shabazz Muhammad, per RealGM.

Cook, 29, is 6-foot-1. He also last played in the NBA with the Cavs in 2020-21, appearing in seven games. He has also spent time with the Lakers, Warriors, Pelicans and Mavericks.

Muhammad, 29, is 6-6 and last played in the NBA in 2018. He spent five years with the Timberwolves and another with the Bucks.
