Jevon Carter is heading to the Chicago Bulls

A native of Maywood, Illinois, Carter had opted out of his $2.2 million option with the Bucks. Carter is the 32nd overall pick of the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2018 NBA Draft.

From Memphis, Carter went to the Phoenix Suns and then to the Brooklyn Nets before joining the Bucks in 2022.

Making a name for himself in Milwaukee

The Bucks acquired Carter in the buyout market late in the 2021-22 season, and the 27-year-old guard blossomed in Milwaukee and emerged as one of the team’s better three-point shooters.

In one season and 20 games with the Bucks, Carter shot 43.7 percent from the three-point area.

The 6-foot-1 guard played in 81 games, including 39 starts, for the Bucks last season and averaged a career-high 8.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 22.4 minutes of action per game.

Best game as a Buck

Carter's best game with the Bucks happened on Nov 9th, 2022, when he fired a career-high 36 points in leading Milwaukee to a 136-132 double-overtime win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

In that game, Carter started in place of the injured Jrue Holiday and he didn’t disappoint as he also added a career-high 12 assists.

Milwaukee was also without Giannis Antetokounmpo in that game, but Carter filled the scoring void by making 15 of 27 field goals, including 5-for-10 shooting from behind the three-point line.
