During a conversation with Josiah Johnson, LaJethro Jenkins, and Zach Schwartz of Buckets (check out the full interview here ), Los Angeles Lakers reserve swingman Lonnie Walker IV raved about the attitude and professionalism of then-teammate Russell Westbrook.

It certainly appears as if this chat was filmed prior to Westbrook's being dealt to the Utah Jazz as part of a three-team deal that has already paid big dividends for the Lakers' depth. That said, it appears LA has had a positive impact on his former teammates as a person.

He keeps things professional," Walker reflected. "I've never seen him look deterred or upset, and especially for me, being with San Antonio, [seeing him] from the outside-in, and being like, 'Russ, what's going on? [He's] tripping, doing this, doing that.' But to be with him, man he's one of the hardest-working dudes I've been around."

"And he's probably one of the best teammates I've been around," Walker noted. "And that's something that I didn't expect, because of how much the media has influenced and, you know, kind of showed what he was. Every single day, he's asking how everyone is, whether it's after games, he sees my family, he's talking to my family, inviting them to get some clothes or whatnot. He's just a great guy. One thing I learned is just his intensity. There's nothing like it. He's on it. And it's not something that he switches on and off."
