Ex-NBA Champion Jeff Teague bizarrely terms James Harden the 3rd greatest shooting guard of all time
Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Aside from the NBA’s GOAT debate, another topic that polarizes fans and supporters of the beautiful game is the conversation of who the best shooting guard in the league is. Regular names on the list include Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant , James Harden, Reggie Miller, and Dwyane Wade.

However, former Atlanta Hawks point guard, Jeff Teague, last year, chose Harden over Wade in the SG rankings, which sparked a heated argument in the basketball community. He wasn’t willing to let the topic slide as he once again made bold claims to back his choice during a recent podcast.

Teague was a guest on “The OGs Podcast” with Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller when he was asked a question by the host on behalf of a fan if he really believed that James Harden is a better shooting guard than Dwyane Wade. He responded:

I think James Harden is the number three shooting guard all time. Going against him [Harden], competing against him, like it was real life scheming. Jeff Teague said

His argument was based on the fact that “The Beard” during his time with the Houston Rockets was unplayable, evidenced by his record in the postseason where he took the Rockets to the Western Conference Final every season he was with them while Wade was battling it out with the Atlanta Hawks before LeBron James arrived and took them, the Heat, to a “different stratosphere.”

While Jeff Teague has his reasons for sticking with Harden, the debate for the next-best top-two shooting guards after Jordan and Bryant continues.

James Harden reveals reason for the Clippers loss against an injury-plagued Milwaukee Bucks

The Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday lost away at the Bucks in what was supposed to be an easy win. The Bucks were without star MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo who was out with an Achilles tendon injury.

The Clippers were the bookmaker’s favorite to win but were defeated 113-106, thanks to an impressive 41-point performance by Damian Lillard. James Harden speaking after the game said:

Knowing what we're trying to do. The middle of the floor was wide open. In that small lineup, I think we were a little confused as to who sets the screen, things like that. Everything is on us. It's not about anybody else. James Harden said

James Harden ended the game with 29 points, four rebounds and eight assists. Next for Harden and the Clippers is a visit to the Toyota Center, to face his former team, the Houston Rockets.
