Edwards, Gobert, Anderson all on Wolves injury report

The Timberwolves will be shorthanded Wednesday of the second night of a back-to-back. It's just a matter of how shorthanded.

Kyle Anderson has been ruled out after suffering a left knee sprain late in the second quarter of Minnesota's win over the San Antonio Spurs Tuesday night. It's unclear how much time he could miss.

Meanwhile, Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert are both questionable. Edwards is listed on the injury report with "left ankle soreness" and Gobert is still dealing with a sprained left ankle. Gobert played through his injury on Tuesday and finished with 13 points, 17 rebounds and three blocks.

Edwards suffered his ankle injury late in the second quarter and needed the help of two people to leave the court and get to the locker room. But as soon as the halftime break was over he was back on the court and wound up leading the Timberwolves with 34 points.

Karl-Anthony Towns is not on the injury report. He missed Tuesday's game for personal reasons, so the expectation is that he returns to the starting lineup against Memphis.

The Wolves and Grizzlies are scheduled to tipoff at 7:10 p.m. CT inside Target Center.
