Draymond Green Once Tried To Sucker-Punch This Ex-LA Player
USA TODAY Sports

Since he joined the NBA back in 2012, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been a winning player. He has helped the franchise win four NBA titles while being the heart and soul of the team.

He has made the All-Star team four times and won the Defensive Player of the Year award back in 2017. Green has been irreplaceable for the Warriors during the last 10-plus seasons.

But despite all the good that he has done for the Warriors, it has come with baggage. He is known for being a very fiery guy who doesn’t put up with nonsense. Green will speak his mind, even if it isn’t the best idea.

It has seen him receive close to the limit of technical fouls each season and saw him get suspended for a game during the 2016 NBA Finals.

It all culminated last season when a video dropped of Green sucker punching his now-former teammate Jordan Poole in the face during a practice session. It led to much friction in the Golden State locker room during the year, and the Warriors never recovered.

And now it looks like the incident with Poole almost happened a few years ago, as an old video of Green trying to punch former teammate and former Laker Nick Young has surfaced. You can see it below.

Young commented on the video as well, adding to this drama.

The former Laker guard spent one year with the Warriors, helping them win the title in the 2017-2018 season. But it seems that even he ruffled some feathers with Green during his limited time in the Bay Area.

Young was known for being one of the most fun-loving guys in the NBA, so this is surprising. As a Laker, Young was always having fun and just enjoying playing the game he loved.

It seems Green has been doing this for a while now, but the Warriors don't seem to mind. They just gave him a brand new contract this summer, and now he will be with them for the foreseeable future.
