Cavs F Evan Mobley (ankle) leaves game vs. Celtics
Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Evan Mobley exited Tuesday night's game against the visiting Boston Celtics in the third quarter due to a sprained left ankle.

Mobley threw down a wide-open dunk with 5:29 left in the third quarter, but as he was landing, he rolled his left ankle on his right foot.

After being subbed out of the game 10 seconds later, Mobley was looked at on the bench by team medical staff before ultimately going back to the locker room.

It was announced shortly after that Mobley would not return to the contest.

Prior to exiting, Mobley had four points on 2-of-8 shooting to go along with six rebounds, four assists and two steals. He played 23 minutes.

Mobley, 22, entered Tuesday averaging 15.9 points, 10.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocks across 37 games (all starts) this season. Injuries have hit Mobley hard this season, as he previously missed time due to left knee surgery.
