The Bucks intend to hire Raptors lead assistant as head coach, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Griffin, 48, has been an assistant with the Raptors since 2018. He has also served as an assistant with the Thunder, Magic, Bulls and Bucks since 2008, when he retired as a journeyman forward.
Along with the Bucks, he’s been considered a candidate at multiple spots over the past several seasons. He won a championship under Nick Nurse with Toronto in 2019.
