Andre Drummond Made NBA History In Bucks-Bulls Game

On Friday evening, the Chicago Bulls are playing the Milwaukee Bucks at the United Center.  

During the game, Andre Drummond made NBA history by moving ahead of Hall of Famer David Robinson (10,497) for 33rd on the all-time rebounding list.  

Following Robinson, the next player for Drummond to pass will be Hall of Famer Jack Sikma (10,816).

Drummond is in his second season with the Bulls and is averaging 8.5 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 56.0% from the field in 59 games. 

The Bulls are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 28-31 record in 59 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Cleveland Cavaliers (in double-overtime) by a score of 132-123. 

Drummond had 17 points, 26 rebounds, one assist and three blocks while shooting 8/12 from the field in 36 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Bucks, the Bulls will travel to California for a matchup with the Sacramento Kings on Monday evening. 

Drummond is in his 12th season in the league and has also spent time with the Detroit Pistons, Philadelphia 76ers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers. 

His career averages are 12.8 points, 12.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 54.3% from the field in 844 regular season games. 

He's also appeared in 17 NBA playoff games.
