UFC 300 will be a hot topic all the way until its commence on April 13, and the rumor mill is alive and well.

Some insist the UFC brass has something up its sleeve, such as the return of WWE superstar and former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. While Brock's name is mentioned in the UFC circle just about every year, UFC CEO Dana White says "The Beast" will not be entering the Octagon at UFC 300.

Well, there goes the pain.

For the first time as a member of the Sportsnet team, Aaron Bronsteter had a sitdown interview with Dana, just as he had been doing in his days with TSN. During the eight-minute chat, Dana White put those Brock Lesnar rumors to bed.

"Brock Lesnar is like 45 years old or pushing 50, 46," White said. "None of those calls were made."

White also ruled out the likes of Ronda Rousey and Georges St-Pierre during the interview. While those three big-name legends won't be fighting this April, Dana is confident that fight fans will be thrilled with what's on the docket.

"You look at all these cards that are stacked, 300's gonna be different because the first prelim of the night is gonna make you go, 'Oh my God, this is the first prelim of the night? You have to watch the first prelim of the night,' and in the United States the entire card is on ESPN, even the first fight of the night. So, it's gonna be a very special, unique card like nothing we've ever done before."

As UFC 300 draws closer, more fight updates will be available. You can count on MMA Knockout to bring you up to speed.
