'TBF He Only Has One Eye!' - MMA Fans Troll Michael Bisping After He Falls For Fake Marlon Vera Skull Fracture X-Ray After UFC 299
David G. McIntyre-USA TODAY Sports

Marlon Vera may have struggled to make the main event of UFC 299 a competitive affair throughout the five rounds but he did once again show his trademark toughness.

"Chito" took a lot of damage following a sniper-like performance from Sean O'Malley to successfully defend his UFC bantamweight title.

In particular, the standing knee strike that "Sugar" landed in the second round had everyone questioning how Vera was still standing.

UFC commentator and former middleweight champion Michael Bisping is a friend of Vera's due to the fact they both train under Jason Parillo at the same gym.

In what he thought was a post about his friend's toughness, Bisping commended the title challenger, but was caught out by a fake post.

Fans Laugh At Michael Bisping's Expense After Being Tricked By Fake Post

The post on X/Twitter shows the video of the knee that O'Malley landed in the second round followed by an X-Ray of a cracked skull, claiming that Vera suffered serious fractures as a result.

Bisping responded the post by applauding the toughness and character of "Chito".

As has been pointed out by other fans on social media, this fractured skull X-Ray is actually taken from the horrific knee that Michael "Venom" Page landed on Cyborg Santos.

MMA fans love to have a laugh at Bisping's expense and this was no different after he was tricked by a fake post.

"Tbf he only has one eye!"

"You know how old people always lose their life savings to online scams that the rest of us could tell was a scam immediately? That’s Bisping."

"If you watch his live streams this is par for the course lol"

"Never change Bisping"

"BISPING NO! ITS CLICKBAIT"

"Bisping such an easy target Ifl. Everyone trolling him"
