Ronaldo 'Jacare' Souza off UFC roster after suffering broken arm

Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza (26-10-0, one no contest) suffered a broken arm during last Saturday's UFC 262 show when he refused to tap out while in an armbar in a loss to Andre Muniz (21-4-0). 

Insult was added to that legitimate injury via the fact that Souza is out of contract and now out of the UFC. Andre Pederneiras, Souza's manager, confirmed the news to Marc Raimondi of ESPN. 

"'Jacare' just wants to take a rest now and take care of his family for now," Pederneiras told ESPN while adding Souza, 41, hasn't yet made any decision about his mixed martial arts future.
