Former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis has joined the list of fighters to start up their own promotions with APFC. The organization's next event will be APFC 7 in Indiana, with the action going down on September 3, live on UFC Fight Pass.

The promotion recently announced a pair of guest commentators for the event, with some names and faces that will be very familiar to UFC fans.  Sharing the booth with UFC welterweight contender Belal Muhammad will be Jason Anik, yes you read that correctly.

The twin brother of Jon Anik will feature on comms for this event, which goes down live from the Hammond Civic Center. The duo will also be joined by social media personality Ben "The Bane" Davis for the broadcast.

Anik & Muhammad To Commentate APFC 7

Whilst his face will certainly be familiar, some MMA fans may be unaware of the work Jason Anik does.  Alongside being a successful entrepreneur, Anik runs the "Remember The Show" podcast alongside Muhammad, who he will co-commentate with on September 3.

Hosted on the same channel as his brother's podcast with Kenny Florian, the MMA gameshow has been running now for two years with guest fighters going head-to-head.

Anik posted about the announcement on Twitter, thanking Pettis and Muhammad before stating that he doesn't want to interfere with his twin's reputation.

"Appreciate the opportunity @Showtimepettis & @bullyb170! Can’t wait to get to Hammond and work with my guy @BenTheBaneDavis! Hope I don’t mess things up for my twin."

Muhammad has featured on the ESPN desk and live weigh-in show for UFC events, and he'll now branch out into commentary with APFC.

We'll find out if commentary talent runs in the blood come September 3...
