Former UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling will face Chase Hooper in the main event of ADXC 2 on January 19, 2024.

Hooper, 24, is a familiar name for many fans. "The Dream" debuted in professional MMA at the age of 17 and went on to fight in the UFC at 20. He made a name for himself by being one of, if not the youngest fighter on the roster at the time, picking up a TKO victory in his first fight.

Since then, Hooper has traded wins and losses, finally finding his footing in the lightweight division to piece together his first UFC winning streak. Hooper has elite MMA grappling and has engaged in two professional grappling matches in the past: submitting Clay Guida and dropping a decision to Renato Moicano. He now has the opportunity to add a championship name to his fighting resume.

Sterling has enjoyed his time after losing his title to Sean O'Malley in 2023. "Funk Master" has taken part in two professional grappling matches, first defeating Mike Grundy in Wales, UK, and then losing a lackluster match with grappler Kevin Dantzler.
