White Sox: Kendall Graveman Added to Team USA World Baseball Classic Roster

Kendall Graveman joins teammates Lance Lynn and Tim Anderson on Team USA for the upcoming 2023 World Baseball Classic.

Chicago White Sox bullpen arm Kendall Graveman is joining Team USA for the upcoming World Baseball Classic. With the WBC just about a month away, team rosters for all squads were announced on Thursday, February 9.

Graveman joins fellow White Sox pitcher Lance Lynn, and shortstop Tim Anderson on the Team USA roster. Unlike Anderson and Lynn, who were reported to be part of Team USA much earlier in the offseason, Graveman's addition to the squad was not widely known about ahead of Thursday's announcements. 

For the White Sox last season, Graveman appeared in a career-high 65 games. The righty threw 65 innings, striking out 66 and walking 26 opposing hitters, and held a 3.18 ERA according to baseball-reference.com.

Team USA starts their 2023 World Baseball Classic journey on Saturday, March 11 against Great Britain at 6:00 PM CST. The game will be broadcast on FOX.
