Minnesota Twins first baseman Jose Miranda had a special moment on Friday night, hitting his first career home run against the Oakland Athletics.

Miranda's bomb came in the second inning while facing Oakland starter Zach Logue. On the fifth pitch of the at-bat, Miranda crushed a 91 mph fastball into the second deck in left field to give the Twins an early lead.

Seeing Miranda hit home runs is something that Twins fans should get used to. The 23-year-old hit 30 homers between Double-A Wichita and Triple-A St. Paul last year and is the No. 3 prospect in the organization according to MLB.com.
