Watch: Guardians 1B overjoyed by younger brother's first MLB hit

Josh Naylor went 4-for-4 in the Cleveland Guardians' comeback win over the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday, but it was his younger brother, Bo, who gave him the "highlight of (his) day."

The elder Naylor, who turns 26 on Thursday, has two four-hit games in his last three contests and has been one of the hottest hitters on the team in recent weeks after an ice-cold March and April where he produced a .212/.271/.341 slash line. The first baseman is now on pace for career highs in batting average (team-high .295), on-base percentage (.338), slugging percentage (.464) and OPS (.803), while his 55 RBIs are the most on the Guardians, ranking fourth in the American League and should surpass last year's high mark of 79 as well.

The 2015 first-round draft pick has also added five stolen bases, which is one away from last year's career-best of six.

The younger sibling was selected by Cleveland in the first round at 29th overall in 2018 and made his big-league debut last October, going 0-for-8 with five strikeouts. Since his recent call-up, the catcher has gone 1-for-12 with three runs scored.

With the recent release of veteran backstop Mike Zunino, the Guardians' starting gig behind the plate is the 23-year-old Naylor's job to lose. It looks like he'll have a dedicated cheerleader from the dugout and on the field in his big brother every step of the way.

The Naylor brothers have helped Cleveland win three straight games and get them right back in the race in the pitiful AL Central division. Despite having a 35-38 record, manager Terry Francona's club is just one game behind the first-place Minnesota Twins (37-38).
