Watch: Aaron Judge homers three times vs. Diamondbacks, setting incredible Yankees record

For the second time this season, slugger Aaron Judge tallied three home runs in a single game, helping the New York Yankees top the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday, 7-1.

Judge homered in the third, fifth and seventh innings, giving him 35 for the season. He hit two bombs off starter Brandon Pfaadt before completing the trifecta off reliever Slade Cecconi.

Judge went 4-for-4 with six RBI at the plate. However, his handful of long balls helped him become the first Yankee in franchise history to have multiple three-home run games in a single season. Judge's first three-home run game of the year came on Aug. 23 against the Washington Nationals.

Despite playing only 100 games, Judge has posted remarkable power numbers following his historic 2022. Per ESPN Stats and Info, Judge's 35 home runs equals Rudy York (1937) for the most by a player who missed 50 or more games in a season.
