Last season with the Miami Marlins, Soler was a key asset at the designated hitter position. He helped the Chicago Cubs win their first World Series in over 100 years. His power-hitting abilities make him such a unique player, and San Francisco has to feel lucky Soler is now with their team.

Jorge Soler played in 137 games last season with the Miami Marlins. In 504 at-bats, he recorded 126 hits, 36 home runs, and 75 runs batted in. He walked 66 times and had one stolen base, all with a .250 batting average. His play in the designated hitter role was crucial for the Marlins. Miami finished the season at 84-78, taking the fifth seed in the NL postseason bracket. The Philadelphia Phillies eliminated them in two games during the NL Wild Card series. While Soler struggled in that series, look for him to step up his play in 2024.
