The Reds tied the Cubs 2-2 on Thursday night. Here are our top performers from the National League Central matchup:

Spencer Steer

Steer hit a home run that cleared the scoreboard. It set what looked to be a positive tone for the Reds scoreboard that simply didn’t hold up throughout the night.

Austin Wynns

What a night for the catcher. He went 2-for-3 with two hits and one strikeout. His time has been limited because he's playing behind Luke Maile and Tyler Stephenson. It was a nice showing in his quest to make the team.

Hunter Greene

Aside from giving up two runs in the first inning, Green was solid, finishing with five strikeouts in three innings. He recovered after a rough start to have a decent night on the mound.

Tony Santillan and Tyler Gilbert.

Santillan had a perfect inning on the mound. Gilbert pitched two innings of scoreless ball. He finished with three strikeouts and only allowed one hit.

The Reds rematch the Dodgers in primetime after they defeated them last go around. This game will take place Friday night in what is expected to be the return of Jonathan India.
