With 15 games on the schedule Tuesday, there are plenty of ways to attack this loaded MLB slate. Let's do just that with three juicy home run props for Tuesday night.
Kris Bryant has been a disappointment in the power department this season. The outfielder has hit only eight home runs in 65 games played, but two of those have come in his last seven starts. Now he gets to face Washington Nationals starter Trevor Williams, who's surrendered the 10th-most homers in MLB this season (20). In 20 career at-bats against Williams, Bryant is hitting .350 with two home runs, so this feels like a good spot to pounce.
Let's stick with the same game for pick No. 2. Only four pitchers in MLB have given up more home runs than Austin Gomber's 22 this season. If we're targeting a Washington hitter to get to Gomber Tuesday, let's roll with Jeimer Candelario, who's batting .300 against the left-hander in his career and has hit three homers in his last eight games. Candelario leads the Nationals in home runs this year with 16, so let's hope he makes it 17 Tuesday night.
It's hard to trust DJ LeMahieu considering he's hit only eight home runs in 85 games this season, but this is a solid matchup and a great price. In 25 career at-bats against New York Mets starter Justin Verlander, LeMahieu is batting .320 with two home runs. He also has a hit in four straight games, including a homer two games ago against the Kansas City Royals. This is worth a sprinkle at a big price.
