Former Milwaukee Brewers Star Ryan Braun Headlines International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame 2024 Class

Former Milwaukee Brewers star Ryan Braun is set to achieve another honor in the coming years: Induction into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.

Ryan Braun has no shortage of career accolades. The 14-year MLB veteran, who retired in 2021, won an MVP award and slugged 352 home runs.

Now the longtime Milwaukee Brewer and all-time Jewish home run leader can add another accomplishment to his resume: the 39-year-old is among the 15 sports figures in the 2024 induction class of the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.

Braun is part of the Hall of Fame's 2024 class but will officially be inducted in 2025. The ceremonies are held every four years.

One of the most prominent Jewish baseball players ever, Braun spent 14 years in the big leagues, all with the Brewers. He won the Rookie of the Year award in 2007 and the MVP award in 2011. He was named an All-Star six times and was a five-time Silver Slugger.

He was a lifetime .296 hitter who popped the 352 home runs and drove in 1,154 runs. He helped the Brewers get to the playoffs in five separate years, advancing as far as the NLCS in both 2011 and 2018. Braun was a lifetime .330 playoff hitter.

Nicknamed the "Hebrew Hammer," he led baseball in home runs with 41 in 2012 and in hits (203) in 2009.
