San Francisco starter Keaton Winn left after four innings having allowed three runs on three hits and striking out five.

Ryan Walker (4-3) took over in the fifth and quickly ran into trouble. With one out Jones walked, moved to third on Tovar's single and scored on Kris Bryant's single. Walker then walked Elehuris Montero and Hunter Goodman to drive in another run.

Ross Stripling came on and walked in another run before getting out of the inning down 6-3.

Colorado struck again in the sixth when Jones tripled with one out and scored on Tovar's single through a pulled-in infield.

The Rockies added two more in the seventh when Castro walked, Doyle singled and stole second and both scored on Wynns' single.
