Dodgers Fans Are Missing Corey Seager After Texas Clinched World Series Spot
USA TODAY Sports

Over the years the Dodgers have seen plenty of talented players leave the organization for different reasons, but there is one that still haunts fans to this day. That would be star shortstop Corey Seager, who joined the Texas Rangers two seasons ago.

Seager was a fan favorite during his time with the Dodgers, and he was one of the main reasons why the team ended their championship drought in 2020. LA allowed him to walk out the door after the 2021 season, and fans have regretted it since.

Now Seager and the Rangers have just clinched a spot in the upcoming World Series, and Dodgers fans are all in their feelings. While it’s nice to see Seager having success, it still stings to see him wearing another team's uniform.

The one saving grace of the Rangers going to the World Series is that they took down the Houston Astros. Seager got his revenge on the team that stole a World Series from him, but he did it with another team other than LA.

While it would have been awesome to see Seager finish his career in Dodger Blue, LA was never going to pay what was required to keep him in town. They hardly made an effort to retain him, and he ultimately left for Texas.

Now he has a chance to win another ring, while the Dodgers are left trying to figure out how to get back to the World Series. Life is weird sometimes, but it seems everyone associated with the Dodgers is rooting for Seager to finish the job this season.
