Aaron Judge has been carrying the New York Yankees all season long with his unbelievable power.
The slugger went deep twice last night against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park, leading the way as the Yankees pulled off a 7-6 comeback win.
For the past five months, we’ve been hearing about how Judge deserves to be the American League MVP.
The numbers he’s put up this season would suggest that he’s got a pretty good chance of winning the award.
Sports analyst Dick Vitale certainly thinks so.
On Twitter, he made his case for why Judge should be the MVP this season, giving him credit for coming through in the clutch and helping the Yankees win.
If @TheJudge44 does not win the MVP the @Yankees should ask for an investigation by @MLB : Hit his 57 th HR – Yes Ohtani @Angels has been special hitting & pitching but value MUST be given for excelling under pressure in leading ur team to WINNING. That has been AARON JUDGE!

The Yankees look to be back on track.
Even while they were slumping, Judge was still tearing it up.
The impending free agent has a chance to not only reach 60 home runs this season, but also potentially pass Roger Maris for the most home runs in a single season by an American League player.
Judge is now up to 57 home runs on the year and has driven in 123 runs with a .310 average and 1.106 OPS.
Vitale makes a strong enough case, but the numbers that Judge has been putting up of late really go a long way to back up Vitale’s case.
As we’ve alluded to before, it would be hard to imagine Judge not winning the AL MVP Award.
It would be good to see him win it too, especially after he fell just short in 2017.
Judge has certainly earned the right to be named MVP.
He’s red-hot and carrying the Yankees to the finish line.
