Arizona Diamondbacks 2024 season begins at Chase Field against the Rockies
Patrick Breen/The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK

Major League Baseball has released the 2024 regular season schedule. The Arizona Diamondbacks will open up the season at Chase Field against the Colorado Rockies on Thursday, March 28th.

The last time these two teams saw each other on opening weekend was back in 2018, when the Diamondbacks won the series two games to one. The Diamondbacks would go on to start their season 11-3.

After the Rockies, the New York Yankees will come to Arizona for a three-game series. This will be the first time the Yankees come to Chase Field since 2019.

But for the mean time, the Diamondbacks will enter the second half of the 2023 season half a game behind the Dodgers for first place in the NL West.

The first game back from the All-Star break for the D-backs will be Friday in Toronto against the Blue Jays at 4:07 PM. Ryne Nelson is set to take the mound for Arizona.
