Strickland appeared in nine games for the Angels after being acquired from the Tampa Bay Rays earlier this season. The 32-year-old struggled in 6.1 innings with the Halos, posting a 9.95 ERA and four strikeouts.
Before being traded to L.A., Strickland owned a 1.69 ERA in 16 innings with the Rays.
Milwaukee is first in the NL Central with a 36-27 record, but it's no secret it could use some relief help. The Brewers will be hoping Strickland can get back on track in his new home.
